TWEC 2012 INVITATION

Dear Colleagues,

It is a great honor and a sincere pleasure for us to invite you to the Turkish Wind Energy Congress (TWEC 2012) to be held in WOW Convention Center, Istanbul, Turkey, on 7-8 November 2012.
We welcome delegates from all around the world to attend such a significant congress. As usual, it will be a great chance to meet colleagues and experts, renew the friendships and update the relevant research data along with the sectoral applications.

As the Board of Directors, we are working at our best to prepare ample technical and social programs for TWEC 2012 which will be held in Istanbul on 7-8 November 2012. Istanbul, the bridge between Asia and Europe, is getting ready to host this prime event of Wind Energy Sector. The historical richness of this unique city end the advanced congress facilities will make sure that TWEC 2012 is going to be a memorable end outstanding meeting.

Turkey is the biggest wind market in Europe with its licensed wind power plant projects over 11.000 MW. Regarding to the strategy report of Republic of Turkey Ministry of Energy and Natural Resources; Turkey’s target is 20.000 MW until 2023, which is the year of 100th. Anniversary of The Republic of Turkey. The techno-economic potential of Turkey is 48.000 MW, according to the General Directorate of Renewable Energy.

Turkey can be an important centre with its location by connecting the continents as it has been an “Energy Bridge” between Europe and Asia.
